We’ve covered the Blood Family Mafia drug war from the very beginnings; from the turn of 2023 to 2024. There’s no doubt about it, the stove top’s on high and the tea kettle is whistling fresh outbursts of fury. To give context to readers, BFM is a street gang founded in Quebec City, headed by the now-fugitive Dave ‘Pic’ Turmel, ‘Pic’ being Quebecker slang for ‘shank’. The narco-war seems to be at an all-time high since the kidnapping and torture events that had taken place in the months of January to February 2024. Kidnappings, shootings, arsons, stabbings and torture are all-inclusive throughout this conflict.
If you’re a first-time reader, you may be wondering who this ‘ballsy’ Blood Family Mafia street gang are beefing with, and the answer is outrageous and bold; the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club and their allies. They need no introduction. Plain and simple. This will be the first time the almighty motorcycle club, who have ruled the province with an iron fist throughout multiple decades since the Great Biker War of the 1990’s, have been challenged. All because of a 10% tax imposed by the Quebec City chapter of the HAMC. To get more in depth, Turmel had found a GPS tracking device on his vehicle in March of 2023, which is when he decided to turn. A magnetized device which would attract much more attention than the frame of a vehicle.
