BFM Drug War: HAMC Member Mathieu Pelletier Charged With The Murder Of Jennifer Morin

Mathieu Pelletier, an HAMC member of the Quebec City chapter was arrested at Pearson Airport on the 28th of October. This comes after a warrant was issued four days earlier for his arrest. Pelletier is charged with the December 2024 murder of Jennifer Morin.

On October 28th, 2025, authorities arrested Mathieu Pelletier at Toronto’s Pearson Airport. The 33-year-old man was waiting to board a flight just moments before police swooped in to arrest him. Who is Mathieu Pelletier? A member of the Hells Angels MC. Why were authorities targeting him? For the murder of Jennifer Morin. Pelletier allegedly orchestrated the homicide, but the end results differed. The intended target was Jeffrey Morin, an affiliate to the Blood Family Mafia. But in an unfortunate series of events, the Blood Family Mafia’s violent drug war with the Hells Angels MC had yielded one of its first innocent victims; Jennifer Morin. The mother of Jeffrey Morin.

The Arrest

Mathieu Pelletier was arrested on the afternoon of the 28th of October. A warrant granted on October 24th came to fruition that later October afternoon at Pearson Airport, otherwise known as the YYZ. The warrant targeting Pelletier was only valid within the province of Quebec. With questions arising about the legitimacy of the arrest. Will this affect what he is ultimately accused of? The arresting authorities must have thought this over through and through, did they know what they were doing at the moment of the arrest?

Mathieu Pelletier

Quite possibly, authorities wouldn’t fumble a homicide case chained up with gangsterism and a major drug war involving the Hells Angels MC. Or would they? Did they catch wind that Pelletier was at Pearson in a most probable attempt to flee his warrant and be another outlaw figure to land on BOLO’s Top 25 with a quarter million dollar bounty on his head? Was this an attempt by police to intercept that possible fumble? Maybe the urgency of the situation prompted authorities to take such action, constricting the biker in the long arm of the law.

Pelletier had been under surveillance by authorities for an undisclosed amount of time. The SPVQ had executed a search warrant on his Stoneham home following his arrest. Pelletier is ultimately facing charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and gangsterism.

His ticket was destined to Mexico. We can almost guarantee this ticket was not purchased in mind of a slow and easy vacation in the south, but rather an attempt to flee the warrant that had been issued only 4 days earlier, on the 24th of October. Pelletier appeared in an Ontario courtroom last Wednesday. He was denied bail and is restricted from contacting Jeffrey Morin. Pelletier was expatriated to the province of Quebec from Toronto on the 29th of October. He will eventually be face-to-face with a judge that will ultimately decide his fate. His next court date is scheduled for November 18th, 2025.

The 33-year-old Hells Angel is the son of Marc ‘Tom’ Pelletier, a founding member of the HAMC Quebec City chapter and an OG that had been through the ’90’s biker war against the Rock Machine and the Alliance. Although having family ties, Mathieu Pelletier made his bones in the Hells Angels MC support group, the Red Devils MC; the Quebec City chapter’s main support club alongside the Dark Souls MC. Keep in mind the Quebec City chapter of the HAMC do not have a clubhouse and rather hold their ‘church’ meetings at the Red Devils MC clubhouse located in Quebec City’s south shore, in a town named Frampton.

Mathieu Pelletier had only gained entry to the top tier club throughout the last year, with only a few pictures of the man being captured, where he is sporting a biker vest with bright red and white patches sewn onto the front. A sure sign of a recent graduation.

Before the drug war took flight in the eastern part of Quebec, Mathieu Pelletier was allegedly supplying and selling drugs to the then leader of the Blood Family Mafia; Dave ‘Pic’ Turmel. It is said that Turmel found a GPS tracking device under his vehicle which ultimately led to the young BFM leader to rebel against the iron fist that controlled the grasp of Quebec’s drug trade. To take up a strife with Quebec’s ruthless HAMC.

This means Pelletier was involved in the development of the BFM drug war, with independent drug dealers and smaller cliques taking on and contesting the 10% tax imposed by Hells Angels MC throughout the province. A mirror-like repetition of the bloody violence that took place in the 1990’s. The Blood Family Mafia was later held accountable by the HAMC for the theft of 28 kilograms of cocaine. An action that the Quebec City chapter would later offer to forgive upon Mario ‘Banane’ Auger’s trip abroad, in an attempt to negotiate with Dave Turmel in order to bring peace on the streets of eastern Quebec. Turmel had shot down the negotiation attempt.

In May, Pelletier’s Stoneham & Tewkesbury home was targeted twice with gunshots. Pelletier’s home is located on Chemin du Sommet, in Stoneham, a municipality famous for its ski resorts. The equivalent to Quebec City of what Mont Tremblant means to Montreal. Pelletier’s humble abode had been taken for a target once on May 8th, 2025, and once again on May 9th of 2025. The shooting on May 8th occurred towards 3am while the May 9th shooting happened towards 8:30pm. No one had been injured.

This isn’t the first time Chemin du Sommet was the host of a shooting like this; on March 5th of 2023, a residence on the same street had been targeted by gunshots towards 1:30am. We are unable to confirm whether this incident took place at Pelletier’s residence, although the timeline of this incident would correlate exactly to when Dave Turmel had found the tracking device under his vehicle.

The Murder Of Jennifer Morin

On December 15th of 2024, three assailants made their way into an apartment block located in the Charlesbourg sector of Quebec City. The suspects consisted of Mickel Brandon Moses; a 20-year-old Lachine resident and member of Cotes-des-Neiges’ ‘UPT160’ street gang. Then there was Moye Yao and Tarik Al-Katrji trailing behind. Their target? Jeffrey Morin; an affiliate of the Blood Family Mafia, some sources even state he was an official member of the Blood set. Jeffrey Morin had been living in his 45-year-old mother’s apartment at the time, Jennifer Morin.

Jennifer Morin

As fate has it, Jeffrey Morin had a bounty on his head. This alleged bounty had been set in motion after a decision taken by HAMC, Quebec City chapter member, Mathieu Pelletier. After a knock on the door, Jennifer Morin ignorantly opened the entrance to her home. The three assailants would then barge in and one of the few would shoot Jennifer Morin in her upper body. In a panic, realizing what they had just done, the killing of an innocent bystander, the group then made their getaway. Surveillance footage captures the trio boarding a rented Tesla.

The trio of criminals had allegedly taken up the contract through a ‘Telegram-like’ cellphone application. The more shocking part of this story comes after the realization that this group of idiots had attempted to kill Jeffrey Morin previously. Not once, but twice. To no avail, obviously. The trio had failed the first time due to the supposed shooter dropping his firearm in a pursuit. The reason for having failed the second attempt is due to the firearm jamming.

On September 30th of 2025, more than 200 police officers throughout Quebec were immobilized. Not only officers from the SPVQ (Quebec City Police Service), but also from 13 other branches of law enforcement across the province, with officers from the Ontario Provincial Police even being deployed. The round-up totaled 13 arrests. These thirteen people consisted of both men and women, between the ages of 18 and 51 years old.

Although 13 people were initially arrested, only six of them are charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Supplementary to the three suspects mentioned above, Arian Vakili Sohoforouzan and Jaquan Andron Primo are facing the same charges. The sixth individual remains unnamed as he is a minor. One of these six individuals was arrested behind the bars of the Quebec Detention Facility, otherwise known as Orsainville. A provincial prison. Warrants were served in both the Quebec region and the Montreal region, with Mickel Brandon Moses’ Lachine apartment even being raided.

Jeffrey Morin

Jeffrey Morin had made news headlines in Quebec inbetween the time of his mother’s murder and the September 30th raids. He had been under police surveillance at the time of his mother’s death. Having been suspected of dealing cocaine for the Blood Family Mafia. The 27-year-old had pleaded guilty to drug and weapons charges in July of 2025, where he received a sentence of 6 years and 9 months in prison. An undercover agent had been vital to his arrest.

This undercover agent had managed to finalize a few cocaine deals through the ‘Signal’ application. The only problem was Morin had used an alias for his front on this application. Making it hard to tie this “seller” to Morin. An alleged ‘runner’ was then used to deliver the drugs to this undercover officer. The day after his mother’s murder, the undercover agent had asked Morin to make a deal, a deal for 14 grams of cocaine to be exact. Morin then replied he would be late, due to his mother passing away. The smoking gun which would identify Morin as the alias this undercover cop was making deals with.

Morin would also partake in the sales of firearms. A conversation between this undercover agent, taking place in January of 2025 would reveal this fact. Between November 27th, 2024 and January 14th, 2025, a conversation about drug dealing, either cocaine or methamphetamine would take place, with amounts dealt varying from 3.5 grams to 125 grams.

The undercover cop would ask the question of whether he would be able to sell firearms, in which Morin replies “What brand?”. Morin would then send a picture of a semi-automatic M10X with an extended clip. Morin then texts “You’re good for an army…” setting the price of the rifle at 3800$. A 1000$ of which was going towards Morin’s commission. He would then sell two other firearms to the same double agent, totaling a 5000$ sale. Shortly after, the authorities made their arrests.

In total, Morin had sold 3 semi-automatic firearms, 6 high capacity mags and 240 bullets to the undercover agent. A Type 81SA, a Kodiak Defense WK181C and a M+M M10X. He was arrested by the GTI (Tactical Intervention Group) on the 29th of January in his Sainte-Augustin-des-Desmaures apartment. The whole investigation yielded six arrests in the Quebec and Riviere-du-Loup regions. 24 firearms were seized throughout this investigation. Among the six arrested were Maxime Lagace and Davyon Costner. The incriminating messages took place between the 13th of January, all the way to the 17th.

During the court process, Morin would voice his frustration while court officials would bring up the subject of his mother. Morin would interject, demanding no one speak about his mother.

Jeffrey Morin’s Previous Arrest

Jeffrey Morin was sentenced to three years in prison in 2023 for his implication in a drug trafficking ring. The arrests in relation to these charges had taken place on December 15th of 2021, two years prior. Jennifer Morin, as well as Jeffrey Morin and seven other individuals were arrested. Jennifer Morin was later acquitted of these charges. The seven other individuals consisted of Cedric Duchaine, Charles Desjardins, Isaac Bedard, Alexis Talbot, Hans Robillard and Maxime Guerin. Police seized 4 kilograms of cocaine, 3.4 kilos of cannabis, 180,000$ dollars in cash, 160 grams of wax and a prohibited firearm throughout this investigation. This was an investigation launched in the brackets of Project MALSAIN.

The 2024 homicide of Jennifer Morin marks one of multiple innocent victims in the BFM Drug War, whether it be a homicide or a wrongful shooting. A grim reminder that you can’t have a war without a couple of innocent casualties. The question stands; how deep was Mathieu Pelletier’s involvement in the wrongful murder of Jennifer Morin?
