Within the year and a half that I’ve begun writing for this site, I still can’t fathom the strangeness and unpredictability of certain events. Truth is in fact stranger than fiction; with current news stories sounding more and more absurd and asinine day by day. Was it the luck of having been present at the right time? Or just a shot in the dark? The story we’ll cover today is not strange, nor absurd or asinine, but rather unpredictable. Something I’m sure had taken many people by surprise upon its unveiling. Delivering nostalgia and confusion.
The once-notorious Satan’s Choice MC seems to be making a comeback. In 2000, the club had patched over, taking up allegiance with the HAMC, and ultimately having their presence ousted out of Canada’s 1%er MC world. The man behind the comeback is none other than Harley Davidson Guindon. The son of Bernie ‘The Frog’ Guindon; the man that brought Satan’s Choice throughout its mythical history. With many of those stories still being talked about today, whether it be good or bad.
It’s important to note that Guindon’s Satan’s Choice was not the exact same Choice that had been founded in 1956, with Don Norris as president. Norris’s Choice had disbanded in 1962, upon increasing acts of violence set forth by a rival MC; the Black Diamond Riders. Guindon had been president of another motorcycle club at the time named the Phantom Riders. He ultimately sought revenge on the Black Diamond Riders and revived the Satan’s Choice MC in a merger with members from four different motorcycle clubs. These clubs consisted of Oshawa’s Phantom Riders, Scarborough’s Canadian Lancers, Port Credit’s Wild Ones (Mississauga), Preston’s Throttle Twisters (Cambridge).
Bernie Guindon had sought permission from Don Norris to start this merger between the four clubs. Norris had no qualms about it and granted Guindon permission. The Satan’s Choice MC had been revived and redefined in 1965. The rest is history. Up until December of 2000, when they were absorbed into the massive powerhouse that is the Hells Angels MC. Now, 25 years after the famed patch-over, all gears are in motion for the SCMC to be resurrected for the second time.
Who, What, Where & Why?
What?
This new formation of Satan’s Choice was announced by Harley Guindon through social media on July 21st of 2025. Guindon had posted a photo of a Satan’s Choice patch sitting on a pair of blue jeans and welcoming submissions for designs through past SCMC clothing. He then states the club has existed for 60 years, took a 25 year break and that you’ll see members riding through the streets. He then finishes his post by stating “Honor, code, high morale. I’m accepting my calling”. A vague post that hints at an immense action. Of course mentioning ‘Oshawa’ throughout it all.
Then, a week or so after, he made a video describing the situation which had led him to start up a new iteration of Satan’s Choice. We’re hesitant to divulge in some of the events surrounding the reason that led to Guindon starting a new club due to how personal they are, but don’t worry. We won’t leave you hanging. It’s our job to keep you informed.
In short; Harley helped found the Brooklin Chapter of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club. Brooklin is a community in the town of Whitby, Ontario, located near Oshawa. Inside drama in the chapter would then result in Harley Guindon leaving the club a few years back. He left in ‘good standing’ as vice president. The drama stems from ‘dead issues’ which he claims were brought up after he split from the MC. Motivating him to start a new club and expose two past colleagues of the HAMC Brooklin Chapter, letting their history be known, and reviving the Satan’s Choice Motorcycle Club.
Guindon has gained permission to reboot the club from his father, Bernie Guindon, and will make him an honorary member of the club. Keep in mind Bernie Guindon had always been opposed to patching the SCMC to the HAMC in the ’90s. He had only caved in, in an effort to avoid violence. Guindon states his club “…will be about rules, class and morale. While holding an old school mentality, but adapting to a new time”. He also states the club will not restrain itself to riding only American made motorcycles.
Who?
Before we get into the alleged facts that are surrounding this event, we’ll take a look at the man himself; Harley Davidson Guindon, and his past.
A lot of hate is being thrown around at the fact that all of this is actually taking place. We have no doubts about the current events unfolding. Harley Guindon has been about that life since his birth, with a record to prove it. Born in October of 1985, Guindon was babysat by Ontario biker legend Lorne Campbell, as a child. With Campbell even stating an incident where Harley had ‘pounded’ Campbell in the face while being babysat.
Later in Guindon’s adult life, he joined a street gang by the name of ‘Baby Blue Chippin’ Crew’. A gang who was later renamed as the ‘Chippin’ Crew’ and then ‘Cash Money Brothers’. He spent a nearly four year stint in prison due to the efforts of the OPP’s Project Superman. Sentenced to five years, he started his stint in Millhaven Institution before being transferred to Collins Bay Institution. He was later released in 2009, but quickly violated his probation order and sent back to Collins Bay. Guindon was yet again released on parole in 2010, which he violated and was sent to Kingston Penitentiary in February of 2011. He was later released once again on parole in April of 2011.
Guindon was then arrested in August of 2012, as part of Project Kingfisher. The man had only lived through a year and some before authorities managed to confine him again. The only difference between then and now, is the fact that he was allegedly a prospect for the HAMC at the time of his arrest. With one police officer falsely claiming he had been involved in the MC as early as 2005. Guindon shot down that claim. In March of 2014, he had officially gained his full patch. Finally being a part of the Hells Angel Motorcycle Club. He was arrested in 2015 following a pursuit with police, being charged for robbery, being in possession of illegal firearms and was sent back to prison.
Deciding to leave the reckless life he was once known for, Guindon had decided to open a clothing store. In 2017, ‘Harley G’s’ opened up in Oshawa. In 2022, he made mention that he had left the HAMC, more specifically the Brooklin Chapter, events surrounding this fact are still caught in a haze, with the truth being hard to determine.
Guindon has been generous to his community. Hosting events, fundraisers and raffles. Even going as far as participating in events of ‘street justice’. Harley G’s is very active on their social media. He had also started rapping throughout these recent years, going by the name of ‘Harley G’, releasing an album with features such as Tony Yayo, Merkules and Roney. An attempted resurgence of the Satan’s Choice MC had occurred in 2017, this was quickly condemned and denounced by Harley. With the “members” of this unaffiliated “club” quickly bringing their “bright” idea to a halt.
Why?
This is where things get stickier than a beehive at a whorehouse…
A week or so after the initial post declaring he would be starting the Satan’s Choice MC back up, he posted a video describing the situation and events that led him to this action. It may be unclear to the average person, who may not be up-to-date on Harley Guindon’s life unless they are following his social media accounts. Either way, in a nutshell, he is ‘beefing’ with specifically two members of the HAMC Brooklin Chapter that had determining factors in Guindon leaving the club. Take note, Harley is not taking shots at the HAMC, but rather two members of a certain chapter.
At the very beginning of the 17 minute video, Guindon states how he is planning to do “the biggest patch-over since 2000”. He then begins to explain how a member from the Brooklin chapter had a relationship with one of Harley’s daughter’s mother; who he claims is a rat, and a serial cop caller. The situation got even more and more heated. With a restraining order being filed by Guindon’s baby momma, against him, with the Brooklin member’s aunt having signed off on it, since she worked at the courthouse. This member in question was once one of Harley’s close friends. With him even having owned real estate and going on vacation several times a year with the guy.
According to Guindon, he had confronted this Brooklin member in question, regarding this information, even having played new found tapes of vocal recordings which the Brooklin member had allegedly instigated. After making him listen to the tapes, Harley started squaring up, getting ready for a fist fight, which is when the member in question had gotten in his car and left. It’s unclear what these vocal recordings contained but they were apparently targeted at Guindon.
Harley later calls out a second member of the Brooklin chapter, denouncing him for being a ‘weirdo’ and having taken part in all this drama. Ultimately, dragging Guindon’s name through the mud for something petty. He says that this member was ‘mouthing off’ to Guindon at a Brooklin Canada Run once. He had been invited as a civilian and had asked this member to ‘stop running his mouth and put his hands up’, which he never did. Guindon claims multiple members witnessed this event and that the second member in question denies it ever happening. According to him, the second member had even tried using Guindon’s family mediation paperwork in an attempt to exile him from the club and make him look like a snitch.
This is only the tip of the iceberg. This drama had eventually snowballed into Harley disassociating from the group and set the wheels in motion for him starting his own club. Another factor that comes into play is Harley taking a year off with the initiative to take care of his father, Bernie Guindon, and act as his personal support worker. Guindon states he ‘lost his voice’ upon leaving to take care of his father.
Where?
Harley Guindon’s hometown is Oshawa, which is where most of this news is coming from. The bottom right patch on his SCMC cut also states ‘Oshawa’. Guindon claims they are already 120 members deep, but doesn’t state where these members are hailing from, or how many chapters there are currently. He also claims he will be patching over several clubs that are already active. Keep in mind, this iteration of Satan’s Choice is brand new, we’ll be seeing more and more news about it throughout the year.
The Unaffiliated 2017 “Club”
In 2017 a group of unaffiliated bikers from Ontario had attempted to start a club, stealing the famed name ‘Satan’s Choice’, wearing the same patch and starting a club in the Ottawa area in July of 2017. The HAMC broke their silence on this fact after Donny Petersen had denounced the club through social media. Petersen stated “Those who take a patch from a respected club, one that has history, courage, who has paid their dues, died, done time and all the rest… like what are you thinking?” following it up with a bold but short sentence; “You are pretenders”.
Lorne Campbell even weighed in on the fact, agreeing with the comments that Petersen had made and warning the club that “They’ll be laughed at. They’ll be punched out. They’ll be jumped”. Harley Davidson Guindon even denounced the new club’s efforts at the time. A slew of comments on social media had also denounced the club, with a spokesperson stating “We’re evaluating everything”. Stating that the criticism that was brought on by social media and actual 1%ers, was not a factor in their decision to shut the club down in fall of 2017. The spokesperson also allegedly claims to have had ‘positive feedback’ from speaking to ‘several’ original members.
Keep in mind, this attempted club planned on being law-abiding and partaking in different community events. In one month, they’ve had 48 members including two prospects and a clubhouse; handing full-patches out as if they were tootsie rolls on Halloween. The Detective Sergeant of the OPP biker squad at the time stated how they’ve had minimal sightings of the club members commuting before it had been shut down. Campbell insisted they hand their patches in to the HAMC and apologize to members of the motorcycle club.
What’s Next?
There is no doubt that the resurgence of Guindon’s Satan’s Choice Motorcycle Clubs is turning heads. Guindon has been posting steadily on his social media account with a video of him and his new cut, and another of him riding on the streets of Oshawa, letting his presence be known. In a recent video of him in his clothing store in front of a rack of ‘Support 81’ gear and holding HAMC calendars; he offers a package deal in order to get rid of the 81 support gear he had, which included a rack of t-shirts, a few boxes of calendars and other merch for the price of 1500$. A couple days later, members of the Brooklin Chapter had gone to the store and bought the gear off Guindon.
We won’t fail to mention that he has posted daily, if not weekly, inviting the two Brooklin members to scrap with him. To settle things through a good ole street fight. An invitation neither of the two members in question have accepted. Keep in mind, Guindon has a reputation for being a fairly ‘fulfilled’ fighter with ’41-0′ tattooed on his back, a vague reminder of his wins to losses of fights he’s had in prison.
