The Hells Angels all around Quebec are facing multiple incidents of scrutiny by authorities. Whether it be the Trois-Rivieres’ seizure of their Herouxville clubhouse or the South Chapter’s reputed member, Bob Lecompte’s, Boucherville business, Quick Industries, being seized towards the end of April. Shortly before, an HAMC get-together held at Boucherville’s Imperia Hotel & Suites in 2023, had cost the owner a 10-day suspension of their bar and restaurant license. Not only does this scrutiny inflicted on them only stem from authorities, but reputed Trois-Rivieres HAMC member, Claude Gauthier, was stabbed with a pair of scissors in a Quebec City halfway house, upon his release from prison in April. Today, we’ll focus on the seizure of Robert ‘Bob’ Lecompte’s business.

The seizure took place in the early afternoon of April 24th. Police had their boots on the ground towards 11am. The target? Quick Industries, located at 1310A Rue Volta in Boucherville. Somewhat of an industrial neighborhood in the town, located roughly 30 minutes away from the island of Montreal. Quick Industries is a business specializing in the sales of motorcycle parts and riding gear. Bikers have always sought out to start legitimate businesses, and what better to sell than parts and gear to fellow bikers? Hell, the Rock Machine had started off as a retailer in Harley gear on Ontario Street, in the heart of Montreal in the 1980’s.

The owner of this Boucherville business is an HAMC member named Robert ‘Bob’ Lecompte. Lecompte is credited for the resurgence of the HAMC’s South Chapter after the notorious police operation SharQc, where 156 members of organized crime were accused of various charges. Many of them were HAMC members. The South Chapter’s Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu clubhouse is owned by Bob Lecompte’s son, Richard Dion-Lecompte.

Back to the subject at hand, the Boucherville seizure. Lecompte had showed up to the property of his company during the raid, while multiple people were found inside of the building. One of these individuals consisted of another Hells Angels MC member; South Chapter’s Michel ‘Guert’ Guertin. Lecompte wasn’t arrested, but rather interrogated, briefly, by the investigators that led this very raid.

This whole operation was brought on by investigators of the ENCRO, a task force aimed at tackling organized crime with the province. With the very initials of the ‘ENCRO’ abbreviation, noting that very fact; Escouade Nationale sur la Repression du Crime Organise. The investigation was aligned to tackle drug trafficking, but authorities held back further information to the media. Hoping to not spoil this investigation. To say the least, we’re unaware of what they found after setting forth this seizure on Quick Industries.

It’s crucial to make the public aware that Quick Industries is a legitimate business, with their own branded motorcycle parts. They clearly have a reputation to uphold. The fact that the police are investigating this business might only be because of the patch the owner bears during his leisurely time. Tune in tomorrow for the story of Claude Gauthier’s Quebec City halfway house stabbing… -East
