Throughout the year we will also look at covering either Ontario, or the whole east coast. Keep in mind The Weekly Wreck only covers gang-related news and incidents that might be crucial to writing any of our future articles. This week, we will cover events from the 15th of January to the 21st.
Carlos Desjardins: Accused Of Pimping & Sexual Assault
Carlos Desjardins passed before the judge on December 24th for a slew of charges in relation to pimping. The 27-year-old man was once a social media influencer, but either his ego got to him or he was hard up for cash, turning to crime for profit. With his victims even having been minors, lest to say some of his charges are assault as well as sexual assault. These crimes had been committed from January of 2024 to December of 2024 in the area of Gatineau. Desjardins used an alias for his crimes, during this time, he was known as ‘Jayson Orellana’.
This isn’t Desjardin’s first spin with the law. In 2020 he pleaded guilty to several different charges which included producing juvenile pornography, extortion and another sexual assault charge.
