11 Arrested Following Galeries de la Capitale Gun Scare (23/03/2025)
A group of individuals were arrested following a call that had been made in regards to a gun scare last Sunday night. The event took place towards 6pm near the Galeries de la Capitale, an industrial-like shopping area, in Quebec City. Police deployed several vehicles to the area and the group of youngins were quickly intercepted. After arresting 11 individuals aged between 12 to 23 years of age, police found no firearm.


They withheld only one of the supposed “suspects”, a 16-year-old teenager who was in possession of counterfeit bills and breaching some aspects of his commitment with the law, as this wasn’t the first time he had run into police for all the wrong reasons.

Villeray Vehicle Arson (23/03/2025)
A dark-colored, 4-door sedan was burnt to a crisp and ultimately totaled towards 11pm on Sunday night. The event took place in the parking lot of a gym, near the intersection of de Normanville and Jarry East. The case was transferred to the criminal arsons department of the SPVM. No incendiary paraphernalia was found at the scene.


Donnacona Penitentiary Gang Assault (22/03/2025)
For those that are unaware, there is a maximum security penitentiary in Donnacona, located only 30 minutes away from Quebec City’s center. Last Friday, a prisoner was sent to the hospital after being assaulted. The perpetrators were apprehended and the victim had made it out without fearing for his life. An investigation is underway, but as far as we know, this event took place between 2 different gangs who control a certain wing of the penitentiary. The gangs or people involved remain unnamed.
142 Kilos Of Coke Seized On CN Train (24/03/2025)
119 packages of cocaine, totaling 142 kilograms, were found in a train when searched in Montreal, more specifically on Rue Hickmore in the Saint-Laurent borough. The cart the drugs were held in contained several vehicles. The cocaine was found under the floorboards of the vehicles. The train came from Mexico. The SQ, RCMP and CBSA teamed up to take on the investigation.
Videotron Armed Robbery On Sainte-Catherines Street (24/03/2025)
An armed robbery took place throughout Monday evening at a Videotron store near the intersection of Mansfield along Sainte-Catherine West. It occurred towards 5:45pm. Two individuals threatened the employees at gunpoint. There were only two employees working at the time, a 22-year-old, as well as a 31-year-old. Nobody was injured throughout the event. No suspects were arrested.

DDO Residence Shot At (25/03/2025)
Police had been called towards 1:20am, in the wee hours of the morning, concerning gunshots heard in the Dollard-des-Ormeaux sector of Montreal, located to the west of the island. The residence was situated on Rue Papillon, near the intersection of Hyman. The very same residence where a vehicle arson had occurred only a month prior, on the 1st of February.


When police arrived at the scene, they found bullet holes in the garage door. Authorities concurred that the shots had been fired from a moving vehicle. No one was injured, and no suspects were arrested.

2 Makeshift Drug Labs Dismantled (26/03/2025)
RCMP recently dismantled 2 drug labs and arrested 3 individuals in the course of these past weeks. One of the clandestine labs was located in Sorel-Tracy in the Monteregie region, as for the other one, in Saint-Lin-Laurentides, located in the Laurentians.


1.5 kilograms of methamphetamine was seized, as well as 180,000 tablets of steroids, 20,000 tablets of speed and 8000 tablets of counterfeit Xanax. 27,000$ in cold, hard cash was also seized. Three pill presses and other various tools, used in order to finalize the production of these pills were also found.

The investigation had led to two search warrants of residential abodes. One in Mirabel, and the other in Contrecoeur. 4 vehicles were also targeted for the same treatment. As previously mentioned, 3 suspects were arrested, but later set free during the course of the day.

Quebec City: Attempted Jewelry Heist On Medusa (27/03/2025)
Medusa is THE jewelry store in Quebec City. The store is located in the Lebourgneuf area and its owner is impactful through his use of social media. Possibly the reason why the store was the target of an attempted robbery, early Thursday morning. Police were warned of a break and entry towards 5am, the famed jewelry store located on Rue des Metis had been targeted.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a broken window and gathered info on the suspected vehicle which carried three perpetrators. The suspect vehicle was later apprehended on Boulevard des Cedres in the Limoilou borough of Quebec City. Police arrested two males and a female, aged 24, 28 and 41.

SQ Dismantles Fake ID Ring (21/03/2025)
A myriad of IDs were found on March 21st, following an investigation by the SQ (Quebec Provincial Police). Police had managed to put their hands on over 1000 IDs, whether it was a driver’s license, a firearm’s license, native status cards or permanent residency cards. Police managed to takedown this ‘ID trafficking ring’ on Friday, after a search warrant had been served on a building near the intersection of Chabanel and Parc Avenue, in the Parc-Ex borough of the city.


Multiple laptops and cellphones were seized during the process as well as a 40-year-old being arrested. More specifically, 10 electronic devices had been seized. Other printing equipment and machines had been seized along with 1000$ in cash. Police believe this might have been a scheme targeted at immigrants, facilitating their way into the country. The suspect arrested was later released with a promise to appear in court.
