BREAKING: Blood Family Mafia Leader Dave ‘Pic’ Turmel Arrested In Italy

Dave 'Pic' Turmel, the leader of the Blood Family Mafia, who has been on the run for nearly 2 years now, has been arrested in Rome. We'll keep you updated as new information comes out...

Dave ‘Pic’ Turmel, the head of the Blood Family Mafia and BOLO’s public enemy number one has been arrested throughout Thursday (27/03/2025). He was apprehended in a residence in Rome. The BOLO program offered a quartier million dollar reward on the bounty they had set on his head. There hasn’t been a lot of information released to the public concerning his takedown. Details on his arrest are bound to trickle in as time goes on. Remember, a red notice had been issued by Interpol when it was rumored Turmel had taken refuge in Portugal. The young fugitive had managed to escape the long arm of the law for 610 days. Taking flight in July of 2023.

Turmel’s apprehension was the result of a close ally snitching on the young gang leader’s location. The 250,000$ reward was well worth the betrayal of a so-called ‘friend’. On top of that, Turmel had apparently committed crimes in Italy, which he will have to spend a bid for in an Italian prison. He will then be shipped back to Quebec, facing charges of drug trafficking, and a newly added charge of conspiracy to commit murder.

So what crime did this 28-year-old commit before deciding to flee to Europe? Many. Turmel was a drug dealer which the HAMC Quebec City member Mathieu Pelletier supplied. Turmel had eventually found a GPS tracking device under his car in the early months of 2023. Sick and tired of paying the 10% cut the HAMC expected, Turmel rebelled, which led to an underground revolution of street gangs and independent dealers from being controlled by the 1%er clubs in the province. This led to the bloodiest gang war since the Quebec Biker War.

This past week has been a hectic 7 days for the Blood Family Mafia organization. Several raids aimed at the gang had taken place. Supplementary to this, many affiliates faced their sentencing in court. Might this takedown have been due to all the arrests made this week? As time moves on and facts reveal themselves, we’ll be right there to cover it.

Stay tuned, more to come…

The Weekly Wreck 17 [DRUG WAR EDITION]: Back-to-Back Levis Home Invasions & Vehicle Arsons, Saint-Agapit Residence Stirring Up Havoc & More

The Weekly Wreck 17 (16/03/’25-22/03/’25): This past week has been a hectic one for firefighters in Quebec’s National Capitol and its neighboring region; Chaudieres-Appalaches. A total of 9 criminal arsons had taken place from the 14th of March to the 22nd. Not all events have been tied to the ongoing drug war, but we can start to presume the majority of those are linked to it.
