When it comes to ranking BC’s most notorious hitmen, the names Pistol P and Ahmed Tahir always ignite heated debates akin to the timeless Kobe versus LeBron showdown. One of them left their whole wallet on the crime scene, and the other tripped on his shoelaces after firing the shots that ended Toni’s life.
But amidst the endless banter, one name will always stand out: Dyllan Petrin, alias Pistol P. His ascent from a poverty-stricken teenager aligned with Gary’s BIBO gang to a feared enforcer for the Red Scorpions is a tale unlike any other. Breaking barriers as one of the first Caucasian members in the BIBO ranks, Pistol P’s journey paints a gripping portrait of transformation, from a low-income youth to an Alpha Dog commanding respect even behind the impenetrable walls of prison.
The transformation of the man known as Pistol P is nothing short of a dark and twisted evolution. The P of today is a far cry from the carefree troublemaker who once haunted the local park, tormenting and robbing DrillManz for kicks.
No, this metamorphosis began long before the shackles of incarceration bound him for murder.
It’s incomprehensible that he made the leap from petty delinquent to seasoned contract killer without some catalytic event. However, whispers in the underworld always suggested some sort of a pivotal moment of heartbreak that had unleashed the beast within him, propelling him down a path of ruthless ambition and cold-blooded killing streaks. The tragedy of love lost morphed him into the monstrous figure that every locked up gangster fears.
Just weeks after the tragic demise of Cody and the initiation of a nationwide manhunt for Dyllan Petrin, chilling footage surfaced on his Instagram profile. These haunting visuals offered a glimpse into the mind of a man who had seamlessly transitioned from troubled youth to wanted criminal, his rap lyrics mirroring the chaos and darkness consuming his reality.

The love song he penned wasn’t a tribute to ‘Nat aka Baby Mother,’ as many speculated. It was a melody crafted from the depths of his shattered heart, an ode to a love lost long before the chaos engulfed his life.
Dyllan’s fugitive status stretched back further than most realized, a shadowy existence shaped by loss and turmoil. Raised alongside his twin, Jaiden, their bond was unbreakable until tragedy struck. Jaiden’s untimely overdose, a mystery shrouded in silence, cast a dark pall over Dyllan’s world.
With Jaiden’s death occurring before the rift between BIBO and RS, whispers abound, suggesting Dyllan may be going insane, potentially impacting the gang’s status. His journey, riddled with enigmatic twists and turns, hints at a complex web of secrets, betrayals, and a relentless pursuit of redemption amidst the chaos.
We begin with his early years, giving you guys a look into his closest friends, and guys he was hanging around as they all begun transitioning into the underworld together. And it’s the reason why pretty much everyone from Pistol P’s team had joined the ranks of BIBO.
The community was very familiar with each other, and it’s a reason why half these kids all grew up together in the sandbox. Even guys like Shmoney and Arab have had relationships with Dyllan since before BIBO had even emerged.
Their connections ran deeper than mere acquaintanceship born from schoolyards or seedy parties thrown by the likes of Vanna or Ashley Hudlin. For these guys, their bonds were forged in the unforgiving confines of youth detention centers and juvenile institutions, breeding grounds for the kind of brotherhood that runs bone-deep.
In the gritty world of BIBO, jail wasn’t just a distant threat; it was practically a rite of passage. Gary Kang, a mastermind in his own right, didn’t wait for his proteges to leave the confines of their incarceration before bringing them into the fold. Lolo and Arab, both plucked from the same range, found themselves not just cellmates, but labelmates under Gary’s shrewd eye.
Once they tasted freedom after high school, the path forward was clear: post-secondary education was a distant dream. Instead, they embraced the streets, diving headfirst into the underworld they knew so well. Some turned to pimping, others to drug trafficking, all under the watchful gaze of their new gang’s leadership.
Dyllan’s dreams were as big as his appetite for adventure and luxury. From a young age, he hungered for the rush of adrenaline and the glittering rewards of the good life. While his brother merely dabbled in the lifestyle, Dyllan was captivated, craving more than just a taste of the high life.
Rejecting the idea of being a mere follower, Dyllan only wanted to be running his own program or operation. So, instead of settling for a subordinate role within BIBO’s ranks, he embarked on a daring venture. Rallying his childhood pals, he set out to forge his own path, determined to build his own empire in a distant city or province; but first – they decided to kidnap someone from rapper NinetyFour’s crew.
Fueled by ambition and bound by unshakeable loyalty to his crew, Dyllan’s quest held the promise of more than just wealth; it offered the opportunity to etch his name into the hall of fame banners of the underworld. Here was a white KID during the new age of Canada, growing up in the lower-mainland with an identical twin who was only similar to Dyllan in terms of visual appearance. It was always obvious that Dyllan was the one out of the two who always took more risks. This was something many of those close to him have repeatedly stated.
While Dyllan chased his dreams beyond the provincial borders, his twin, Jaiden, opted for a different path—one mired in the familiar embrace of addiction. Substance abuse was the unwelcome companion in Jaiden’s life, a shadow that Dyllan desperately sought to escape. It wasn’t that Jaiden lacked the skills or trustworthiness to thrive in the underworld; rather, his penchant for squandering profits on his own highs led to a downward spiral.
Despite his best intentions, Dyllan found himself unable to resist his brother’s pleas, becoming an unwitting enabler in Jaiden’s self-destructive cycle. What began as an act of fraternal love soon morphed into a daily ritual, with Dyllan shouldering the burden of his brother’s addiction, trapped in a cycle of dependency neither could break free from.
Before embarking on their cross-country odyssey, these young men, just 19 at the time, found themselves embroiled in a kidnapping investigation that ignited on July 4, 2019. However, even before the abduction took place, their activities were already under scrutiny as they operated within a dial-a-dope network, peddling narcotics alongside Meaz, Pistol P’s right-hand man, who eventually faced arrest.
The following articles paint a vivid picture of the nefarious activities lurking within Pistol P’s inner circle, offering a glimpse into the character of the man himself. It’s clear that even in those early days, his associations hinted at a darker side, foreshadowing the dark journey that lay ahead.
P.S – One of their co-accused was none other than the infamous OMT Nate. (AS WE SAID – A LOT OF THESE GUYS KNEW EACH OTHER)
“She was physically mistreated by the men by violence or the threat of violence at times. They controlled her movements to a degree, including by providing her with drugs and alcohol,” the ruling states. “She saw only a tiny fraction of the amounts she earned. [She] was required to provide sex services that she did not wish to. [She] was exposed to health risks, including by the fact that she was not provided with condoms to use. She was also required to have sex with Mr. Nour-Eldin and his associates, and their friends. She was trafficked across the border into Alberta.”
As the law closed in, their attempted escape from justice unfolded in a series of desperate attempts, each ending in apprehension. OMT Nate’s flight was halted at the border, Meaz’s evasion came to an end in Montreal, and Pistol P, after a brief stint on the run, opted to surrender himself. Placed under house arrest with a constant reminder of his confinement—an ankle monitor—Pistol P’s journey took a new turn; and that’s all because of who he met in prison during his short stint of transitioning into a conditional sentence.
But before delving further into Pistol P’s saga, let’s take a moment to examine the bold move PonyBoy made. Through a series of videos uploaded on social media, PonyBoy aimed to expose Meaz, also known as Streets, alleging him to be a rat. These videos, laden with intrigue and betrayal, shed light on the tumultuous dynamics within their circle, setting the stage for the next chapter in Pistol P’s tumultuous journey. Keep in mind that all of these videos came after Pistol P had been arrested for his role in Cody Sleigh’s assassination. PonyBoy was frequently shouting “Free Pistol” everyday via social media until we had invited him on an instagram live session featuring Natalie aka Pistol P’s baby mother. She proceeded on saying how Dyllan has no respect for the Israeli gangster in PonyBoy, and how he has requested PonyBoy to stop spreading false rumours insisting some sort of friendship.
In other words, he was completely shattered and heartbroken. Taking it on Meaz was his only solution. Try and take the heat/steam off him. Chess move.
When Pistol P had been incarcerated during that short period of trying to receive bail via strict conditions such as the ankle monitor; he had met many different gangsters. Petrin and the target in Sleigh, whom he ended up killing; both served prison time together in B.C. before Sleigh, who had been convicted of kidnapping and other offences, was released from Saskatchewan Penitentiary four months prior to his death. Not only did Pistol P serve time with Cody Sleigh, but he had also served time with the co-accused in the hit: Kleon Cassidy Pop – Dyllans getaway driver for the hit. Now 36 years old, Kleon and Dyllan had both been recruited for the assassination by the Red Scorpions.
The correctional system is to blame in our opinion and that’s because if he hadn’t been placed on a range with these much older established gangsters, he wouldn’t have made that ‘contact’ which ended up being a contracted hit on the 31 year old – Cody Sleigh. Pistol P eventually got released and decided to cut off his monitor (surprise) and go on the lam. Only this time, he wasn’t going to bunk with the likes of PonyBoy and ‘Streets’ in AirBnB’s across the country; he was ready to collect the 25k on Cody’s head.
Before getting into specific details revolving his sentence, and the monster he is now became behind bars; we’re going to look into the contract killing he was assigned too.
While the motive for the killing remains unclear, it appears to be connected to disputes Sleigh had with another inmate while in custody in Surrey, B.C. This was stated by the crown attorney, Chris Vanderhooft during Petrin’s guilty plea; which resulted in him not having to stand in the April 2022 trial for the first-degree murder charge.
Dyllan cut off his ankle-monitor and immediately travelled east, towards Manitoba. Sometime during the way (possibly a Native Reserve in Saskatchewan), Petrin met up with Kleon to ultimately carry out the hit. Although we have confirmed Pistol P earning well over 20k for the contract-killing, Mr. Pop’s reward for his role in being the get-away driver is not confirmed.
Petrin and Pop drove to Manitoba in a borrowed car, then rented a 2017 Kia Forte5 under an assumed name and changed hotels twice before the killing.
Pistol P and his accomplice patiently bided their time, observing Cody Alexander Sleigh’s morning routine like clockwork. At around 6 am, as Cody emerged from his halfway home and hopped into the waiting taxi destined for work, everything seemed ordinary. Oblivious to the looming danger, Cody went about his morning as usual, unaware of the watchful eyes tracking his every move. Little did he know, the two assailants lurking nearby were all too familiar faces from his past prison days.
The assailants had meticulously planned the ambush, well aware of Cody’s daily commute routine. Dyllan, disguised in a yellow reflective vest, lay in wait outside, ready to execute their sinister plan with chilling precision. In a swift and ruthless attack, Dyllan unleashed a barrage of gunfire at point-blank range, striking Cody six times, including a fatal shot to the head. The tranquility of the morning shattered in an instant, leaving behind a scene of horror and devastation.
The two suspects made rookie mistakes after the crime, making it easy for the cops to crack the case. Instead of ditching the getaway car properly, they were seen scrubbing it down before returning it to the rental agency and going their separate ways.
And if that wasn’t enough, Pistol P left his WALLET at the scene! Can you believe it? The taxi driver who witnessed the chaos even told the cops that Petrin dropped it as he dashed to the rented Kia Forte5 driven by Mr. Pop.
The wallet didn’t have any ID, but it had Petrin’s DNA all over it, matching the DNA found inside the Kia. Talk about leaving a trail of evidence!
Dyllan’s apprehension unfolded like an unexpected twist in a suspenseful drama. Unbeknownst to authorities, Pistol P had cunningly chosen to seek refuge with his girlfriend, Natalie, in the bustling streets of the Lower Mainland. His misguided belief that his criminal acts in Winnipeg would render him invisible in British Columbia added a layer of audacious arrogance to his desperate escape plan. With audacity matching his disregard for the law, he had even dared to sever his ankle bracelet in a futile attempt to evade justice.
We should all know by now just how amateur and lack-of-quality the BIBO gangsters conducted things. Days before Dyllan had been arrested in Vancouver, videos and images started surfacing of perfect examples defining the stupidity of the gang. It turns out that they decided to celebrate New Years with Dyllan in the lower-mainland, without realizing half of them were already under police surveillance. This party was attended by pretty much every BIBO gangster and that’s because they were all still free at the time.
Considering how Lolo and Dyllan may not be on the best of terms in today’s day, these videos and images serve as quite the reminder as to how easy friends can switch.
Unfortunately for Natalie, it was a love story cut too short. Dyllan had been arrested and Natalie had also picked up charges related to accessory after the fact.
Dyllan ended up taking a plea deal and is now serving 20 years without parole, whereas his co-accused is serving 18 years.
What most don’t know is that before he was shipped to Kent Institution, he had actually completed 2 years of his sentence at the Stony Mountain Institute. He was still an active member of BIBO while incarcerated in Manitoba.

While Dyllan was doing time in Winnipeg, it became apparent to everyone that he was literally running sh*t in prison. It came to a surprise, yet again, and that’s because the institution is famously known to have been ran by Native Gangs. After speaking to multiple sources related to Dyllan, we realized that he actually has Native blood in his ancestry and has therefore found some sort of connection with his First Nation brothers.
Long story short, he was seen as some sort of king in the institution and had even begun an operation inside the prison. He had his close friends aka BIBO associates in JayCoz & Shmoney drive out to the prison and ultimately drop drugs into the facility via an advanced drone. We don’t know how many times they got away with it, but we all know about the time THEY didn’t get away with it.
Soon after, Dyllan realized that the feds were constantly watching him and had been aware of his new success inside prison. Realistically, he knew that he was probably not going to be able to get his drugs inside and had therefore requested to relocate.

We all know what came next, specifically late last year. But before we continue, we believe that Dyllan had only gone to those lengths because of the pain he was suffering from the loss of his brother.
Long story short – he flipped script on his BIBO brothers and devised a plan that ended up violently injuring multiple BIBO gangsters in the Kent institution. It’s unclear as to how ‘BIG’ Dyllan has gotten inside prison, and we have heard from multiple people that he is completely jacked now.
DrillDoc had other things to say obviously and insists that Pistol P has developed a drug habit inside prison (down).

There’s obviously been a lot of rumours surrounding the incident, however we can confirm that Pistol P refused to actually HURT any of the BIBO members HE WAS CLOSE WITH. In other words, guys that he grew up with and guys that he actually knew did not get touched. This is why Lolo and Pistol P are still communicating on a minor level, regardless of Lolo being hurt by his friend’s decision.
Rumours have also circulated regarding the extent of Kyle and Dyllan’s relationship. Although Latimer is seen as the current Red Scorpion boss, it’s believed that Dyllan had actually been recruited by Kyle to carry out the Sleigh assassination. Therefore, the two have always had a close bond and may have been the reason as to why Pistol P decided to join forces with the Scorpions.
