Last Thursday, on September 4th, 2025, our sources told us the famed criminal, Rabih ‘Robby’ Alkhalil was arrested overseas. This prompted us to write a tweet about the situation. A situation we hadn’t foreseen to happen in 2025. Only a couple platforms of the mainstream media had written articles about the arrest, 24 to 48 hours later after our initial post. After being nearly three years on the run, and successfully escaping a detention center while on trial for murder. Rabih ‘Robby’ Alkhalil was finally arrested in Qatar.
Facts and information about this arrest started to fog up, after a press conference held by the RCMP on Monday (8/09/2025). Four days after we got confirmation on Alkhalil’s arrest, the RCMP and the CFSEU-BC (Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit) started raising doubts on his arrest. Stating how “…they are aware that there are unconfirmed media reports…” on how he was arrested, noting that the RCMP had no confirmation of his arrest. Letting us know they’ll update us if anything changes.
So what is it? Was he arrested? Or on his flight, commuting from an airplane seat to a cell? Or was this all a hoax? Alkhalil is not only a slick, but also a smooth criminal that’s only a bribe away from freedom in the Middle East. Anything could have happened. And question marks still litter the grounds of this unwritten chapter. But the truth is; Qatar has no extradition treaty with Canada.
Any true crime reader with two hints of knowledge on Canadian crime knows about the Wolfpack Alliance. A crime group founded 15 years ago in 2010, consisting of the Hells Angels MC, the Red Scorpions, the Independent Soldiers and the Alkhalil family. This conglomerate of groups had ties to the Sinoloa Cartel and Montreal’s West End Gang in eastern Canada.
‘Robby’ Alkhalil was considered to be part of a “crime family” along with his four other brothers. ‘Robby’ is the youngest out of all five brothers, being born on May 8th of 1987. The oldest brother being born in 1976. The Alkhalil brothers had a longstanding beef with the Duhre brothers, who were once considered to be part of the Punjabi Mafia, out in Western Canada. This came after an incident which occurred in the summer of 2000, after Nabil Alkhalil stabbed a Duhre gang member in a park located in Victoria, BC.
Three of ‘Robby’ Alkhalil’s brothers had been violently murdered in the following years. As time passed, Alkhalil had found himself starting a friendship with Larry Ronald Amero. This “friendship” had eventually led to the two of them being business partners. Larry Amero is a member of the White Rock chapter of the Hells Angel MC located in British Columbia. Together, they once sat at the upper echelon of the Wolfpack Alliance.
Throughout the following years of the foundation of the Wolfpack Alliance. Rabih Alkhalil had commissioned ‘hits’ to renowned Canadian hitman Dean Michael Wiwchar, who was convicted of the 2012 murder of Johnny Raposo alongside Alkhalil. He was sentenced to life in prison for his involvement in the Raposo homicide. Alkhalil then faced trial in Montreal concerning drug trafficking charges. At the end of the kerfuffle, he was sentenced to 8 years. Finally, Alkhalil was shipped back to Vancouver facing charges for the murder of Sandip Duhre and Sukhveer Dhak.
While being incarcerated at North Fraser Pretrial Center in 2022 during his trial. ‘Robby’ Alkhalil had managed to escape. It took staff at the detention center nearly half an hour to notice one of their prisoners had escaped. Alkhalil had the help of accomplices, individuals posing as contractors. With his escape being caught on the surveillance cameras of the prison. Soon after, the kingpin was long gone.
Alkhalil had a quarter million dollar bounty put on his head by law enforcement in October of 2012. Asking the public for any information leading up to his arrest. This was eventually downgraded to a 50,000$ reward set about by the BOLO program. Ultimately being placed in third place, overshadowed by criminals such as Dave ‘Pic’ Turmel and All Boivin, although having a more severe charge. The BOLO site states news broke out about Alkhalil’s arrest 3 days after we made our initial tweet.
