Before we get into the vicious footage that stars Tejinder Singh, a 37 year old California man who was charged with a hate-crime after verbally harassing a Hindu man – in Taco Bell. We want to look at some of the responses that the twitter world was sharing in regards to the situation. It’s pretty common that nowadays the public is only shown 1 side/story of an incident, with the media leaving out any other possible theory/ideas as to why this situation even occurred. Whatever makes the best headline, is going to be the story that we are presented. Unfortunately, we don’t know whether or not the Punjabi man was provoked into saying the stuff he did; which still doesn’t give him any right to put someone else down because of what they believe in.
We’ve been getting a lot of messages and comments directly messaged to us, as to why we only present hate crimes being addressed towards Sikhs. Therefore, we knew this would be a perfect opportunity to display our overall neutrality, as we have always stood up equally for every man, woman and child. This was just unacceptable and the Sikh community as a whole will be the first to tell you that they do not claim an individual with such hate, like this.
