- It’s important to note that this is a rewrite of an article we released recently but only with updated information added. With time comes further development in different stories, pictures and videos.
At the very start of this drug war we’ve seen horrid things with the Saint-Malachie hostage taking and torturing. We’ve seen videos of HA associates and drug dealers being taken hostage, having their ears clipped or having the bottom of their feet burnt to a crisp. The fact that this isn’t a ‘pop and drop’ drug war is clear as day. Out of the norm in Canada, maybe in Mexico, but certainly not up north. If there’s a word that describes this drug war, it would be dirty. Dirty as hell.
Sending a 14-year-old street gang prospect to torch a biker clubhouse, towns and towns away, armed with an AK-47 and an M16 is also something out of the ordinary. Something savage. The fact that this sort of plan backfires on either of the multiple street gangs also acts as a plot twist. With the Saint-Malachie hostages stabbing one of the perpetrators to death or the mysterious cases of the 14-year-old who tried to hold a clubhouse at siege, found dead the day after the attempt.
Bikers are seasoned criminals, throughout decades of experience, they also function more ‘sanely’ in prison than these street gangs spurting out at every corner of the province. This doesn’t exclude the history of bikers, they’ve definitely been the unpolished thugs that hunger for blood every day they wake up. But this dates back decades. The ‘not give a fuck’ attitude has been replaced with a ‘make money’ attitude, ‘smartly’ and ‘legitly’. There’s no reason to waste years and years of your life for the sake of being reckless.
Saint-Malachie Cottage Arson
The incident in question happened on the night of the 28th of October leading up to the 29th, towards 12:45am. Firefighters were called to a scene where a residence had been set on fire. It took place on Chemin Royer and consisted of a cottage. When firefighters arrived on the scene, the flames had already attained most of the building, which led in the total loss of it. Emergency services would then state that the arson was of criminal origins. The investigation was then forwarded to the SQ (Quebec Provincial Police). No arrests were made.
The owner of the cottage was interviewed by authorities, questioning the man whether this arson might be related to organized crime within the province, most notably the east of the territory. The owner, being well-known to local police had denied any involvement. The SQ would then deny any organized crime involvement stating it was too soon to know. We would only be able to connect the dots with this incident and the BFM/HA drug war days later.
Suspect Burns Himself In Saint-Malachie Cottage Arson
Throughout the week of the 28th of October, a 19-year-old man from Levis spontaneously showed up to the emergency ward of Enfant-Jesus hospital in the Limoilou borough of Quebec City. With nearly 85-90% of his body burnt from fumbling a Molotov cocktail, the young man was put in an artificial coma. This came only hours after the burning of the Saint-Malachie cottage.
They had been a duo, a team of two in charge of setting arson to the cottage. A 17-year-old who was a fugitive from a youth center and a 19-year-old. The arson was allegedly ordered by Mathieu Pelletier, a newly full-patched HA member, son of Marc ‘Tom’ Pelletier, who lived through the Quebec biker war in the ’90’s. The owner of the chalet had allegedly switched sides, joining the Blood Family Mafia and had faced disciplinary action from the HA faction of the war. Being handed a beating. He had racked up a hefty bill with the HAMC, owing them thousands, hence, the reasoning for switching sides.
On an ‘off-note’ TVA Nouvelles had reported that police had searched the home of the victim and had found evidence linking him to the Blood Family Mafia, but this proved otherwise after a few days the investigation was launched. The 19-year-old in question had first gained knowledge of a certain street gang while being locked up in 2023. He was locked up for armed assault.
Julie Baillargeon, the mother of the 19-year-old was which was dropped off, nearly naked and burnt to a crisp in front of the Enfant-Jesus Hospital that morning (27/10/2024) had been interviewed by media, more specifically CBC (Radio Canada) after the media company reached out to her.
Julie Baillargeon received a call towards 10am on that Tuesday morning letting her know her son was admitted to Enfant Jesus. She stated to media that her son had been missing for a couple of days. She was shocked, to say the least, when she entered the room her son was housed in. Stating to CBC that he had visible burn injuries from head to toe. He was put into an artificial coma. Doctors announced to her that her son’s struggle was far from over, letting her know he still has a 50% chance of dying. Doctor’s proposed pulling the plug but she told CBC she’d let ‘God handle it’. There are chances that his burns might cause lifelong pain, with a slew of nerve damage having taken place.
Baillargeon stated that her son had always had ‘sketchy’ friends, up to the point where he wouldn’t introduce them to her or his family anymore, keeping the people he hung out with a secret. She states he had always been a delinquent, regularly having run-ins with the law. The turning point came in July of 2023, when he was serving time for his armed assault charge, she believes he made new friends while behind bars, friends with misintention. Every day is a struggle for Julie Baillargeon as she prays for her son to pull through his injuries. She warns parents to keep their youngins as close as they can, and make sure they don’t go astray.
Devils Ghosts MC Clubhouse Arson
We’ve spoken numerous times in the past about support clubs for the HAMC such as the Red Devils MC, Dark Souls MC and even the Marauders MC. In the province of Quebec, there are no lack of support club MC’s. Another prominent support club to the east of the province would be the Devils Ghosts MC. Their clubhouse is located in Lac-Saint-Jean, a region located only a couple of hours away from the province’s capital.Devils Ghost MC member getting pulled over by police.

Although the individuals implicated in this drug war are hesitant to commit charges such as murder, there is no lack of arsons throughout this conflict. Happening weekly and nearly multiple times a week this conflict is definitely led by scolding hot arsons.
