The search warrants were served on Wednesday (04/06/2025) morning, and a total of 40 police officers were dispatched from nearly a half dozen police forces throughout the province of Quebec. A search warrant also took place in Quebec’s neighboring province, Ontario. More specifically Ottawa. This particular operation was spear-headed by the SQ (Quebec Provincial Police), the SPS (Saguenay Police Service) and finally the ERM (Regional Mixed Squad); the very same trio of police forces that comprised the task force in which led to the May 23rd Saguenay raids. In fact, the two raids are part of the same investigation. The previous raids in May oversaw the arrests of nine individuals and the seizure of a whopping 340,000$ in cash, 4 kilograms of cocaine and 13 firearms.
The raids executed this past Wednesday (04/06/2025) were the fruits of an investigation which had debuted in July of 2024. The operation had also been a follow-up to the May 23rd raids. An investigation that lasted one month shy of a whole year. A total of five addresses and three vehicles had been searched. The towns and cities in which the search warrants had been executed were Montreal (Anjou), Laval, Ottawa, Terrebonne and Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts.

Authorities had managed to seize 70,000$ in cash as well as 19 cell phones. A cash-counting machine and an accounting book had also been seized. Police also seized an unspecified amount of psilocybin, otherwise known as mushrooms, and cannabis. Four individuals had been arrested.

In total, between this set of raids and the ones in late May, 13 arrests have been made, 14 addresses searched and 10 vehicles seized. Well above 30 cellphones had also been seized. Journalist, Felix Seguin, noted to the media how police hope more information will come out upon searching the many dozen cellphones.
During that interview with LCN, Seguin also noted how All Boivin had been spotted in Saint-Lazare, located in the Monteregie region of the province. Saint-Lazare is a town located around 45 minutes from Montreal. The members of the public, who had spotted him, contacted police, who had missed the kingpin fugitive by only minutes. His whereabouts are still unknown. Is he in Quebec? Canada? Or did he flee the country? Police believe Boivin is now in charge of some of Dave ‘Pic’ Turmel’s operations since Turmel’s arrest in March.
Boivin has a 250,000$ bounty on his head through the BOLO program. He is currently Canada’s most wanted criminal. He is on the lam with his girlfriend, Yaulise Lemieux-Bellavance, in a true Bonnie & Clyde-esque type of fashion.
