Satan’s Crew MC Faces A Slew Of Search Warrants

An HAMC support club dubbed Satan's Crew MC out of Becancour, Quebec faced scrutiny of several search warrants issued last Wednesday evening. 80 SQ officers were necessary for this operation which yielded barely any evidence.

An MC we haven’t written about yet would be the Satan’s Crew MC, hailing from the town of Becancour located on the south shore of Trois-Rivieres. One could say Becancour would be what Levis or Longueuil are to Quebec City or Montreal, located only a short commute away from Trois-Rivieres, on the southern side of the famed Saint Lawrence seaway. All three of these cities just mentioned have two things in common, bridges linking them to lesser known towns south of the seaway and crime spilling over to these south shore towns.

Any Motorcycle Club that wants to fashion and portray the diamond ‘1%’ diamond patch or the ‘MC’ patch, next to their logo needs to go through the big dogs in Quebec, being the HAMC. Some of these clubs are later known as ‘support’ clubs or ‘puppet’ clubs such as the Satan’s Crew MC. This is not to be confused with the Satan’s Choice MC, a legendary Canadian club of the past.

Last Wednesday evening (20/11/2024) the SQ (Quebec Provincial Police) had made an important stop at the Satan’s Crew clubhouse in Becancour. Keep in mind there are only a dozen or so members of this club. An operation which would usually take place towards 5am or 6am, had taken place towards 6pm, the ERM (Regional Mixed Squad) of the SQ had their boots on the clubhouse soil towards 6:45pm.

Why did they debut this operation in the evening rather than the wee-hours of the morning? The answer very simply lies in the habits of bikers. MC members are more likely to get together at the end of the day rather than early in the morning. This conspicuous moment might hint in which the SQ had proceeded to unveil this operation lacking information and evidence. Better said; they might have had jack shit on the Satan’s Crew and proceeded to end their investigation with minimal arrests and charges.

Multiple search warrants were set out that Wednesday night, not only on the Satan’s Crew clubhouse on Rang Prince in Becancour, but also on various different residences, buildings, garages and even vehicles. A total of 80 officers took part in this operation in which nearly 50 investigators were present at the scene in order to collect intel. The clubhouse was occupied by 5 members of the Satan’s Crew, which were searched. Authorities searched the warranted places in hopes of finding drugs, weapons or patched biker vests.

By the end of the night, the SQ had managed to arrest two members of the club. A 41-year-old Trifluvien (Trois-Rivieres resident) as well as a 47-year-old from Wolinak, a town neighboring Becancour. Both men had been in possession of a handgun at the time the search warrants were executed. Both of them appeared in court last Thursday. This investigation comes after previous warrants issued in October and November, and aimed at gathering more evidence for prosecution of drug trafficking.

All-in-all, two pistols, a bulletproof vest and multiple biker cuts were seized. A very disappointing take for authorities. All facts released to the media point towards this police operation as having been a failure, to put salt on the wound would be to have had 80 SQ officers being implicated in this operation. We’ve seen traffic stops having yielded more evidence than this whole shenanigan.
